Talib Salaam is a Mental Health Counselor with over 13 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and local communities. He specializes in relationship and family dynamics, anxiety, depression, identity development, intergenerational trauma, and the unique stressors faced by communities of color.
As a proud African American clinician, Talib is dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health—especially among Black men. His work focuses on healing, empowerment, and accountability through both therapy and community-based initiatives.
Talib was recently honored by Black Men Build of St. Louis for his leadership in promoting wellness and social change. In addition to counseling, he serves as a speaker and educator, advocating for representation and systemic transformation in the mental health field.
A devoted son, brother, and father of two, Talib earned his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and continues to serve the St. Louis community with integrity and purpose while expanding his reach to all of Missouri.
