Brittany is a Licensed Professional Counselor with The Heriford House who serves as the Clinical Director. She graduated with her Master's degree in Professional Counseling. Brittany has a plethora of experience working with children and families. She has spent many years working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental superpowers. Brittany has experience working with children as young as preschool aged, with challenging behaviors in the home, in the community and in the classroom. She also has experience working with teenage boys in the DYS/Juvenile Justice System creating goals and treatment plans for them to complete in order to return home to their families. Brittany is solution focused and uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy treatment approaches most often. Brittany also has experience helping married couples navigate their marriage struggles and restore their marriage while also helping children with divorcing parents to adjust to their changing home life. Brittany coached parents on their journey to co-parent successfully and worked with individuals from all walks of life as they strive to grow on their journey. Brittany is trained in trauma focused approaches such as EMDR and Brainspotting, as well as the No Family Left Behind Program, the Intensive In-Home Family Therapy Services formerly known as MST.
