Kory Purinton, Admin Assistant

Kory serves as the Administrative Assistant and Social Media Manager at The Heriford House Counseling Center. He plays an essential role in supporting daily operations while helping ensure that individuals and families feel welcomed, supported, and connected from their very first interaction with HH.

As one of the first points of contact, Kory is committed to creating a smooth and positive experience for clients. Whether he is assisting with scheduling, answering questions, or helping guide individuals through the intake process, he strives to make accessing services feel approachable and stress-free.

In his role as Social Media Manager, Kory is passionate about sharing meaningful, engaging content that reflects the heart and mission of The Heriford House. He enjoys highlighting the team, educating the community on mental health topics, and creating space for conversations that help reduce stigma and increase understanding.

Kory is especially passionate about bringing awareness to mental health and increasing access to care, especially for those in underserved and overlooked communities, including the African American community and the LGBTQ+ community. He believes that everyone deserves access to quality, compassionate care and works to ensure that HH’s messaging is inclusive, culturally responsive, and welcoming to all.
