As a provisionally licensed professional counselor, I believe everyone deserves to feel understood and supported on their journey toward healing. I take pride in creating a space where all parts of who you are are honored. I believe that every person brings a unique story shaped by many identities — including race, ethnicity, culture, socioeconomic background, gender, sexuality, education, professional roles, and family experiences. In our work together, I want you to feel fully seen, respected, and valued.
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and I also earned a BS in Psychology (minor in Studio Art). My training has covered assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of challenges like schizophrenia, depression, panic disorders, and relationship challenges, along with specific work in anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders through my internship in the COARD program with St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute.
I use a blend of evidence-based practices — such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, seeking safety for PTSD & substance use, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing — together with a listening ear and genuine empathy. My approach is collaborative: I see us as partners. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, OCD, life transitions, depression, or just feeling stuck, I aim to create a place of safety, respect, and hope.
Outside of counseling, I draw inspiration from all the spaces I’ve been part of — teaching and mentoring roles, community advocacy, creative art, and even my earlier work co-owning & operating a salon. These experiences inform how I walk with you: authentically, with curiosity about your story and care for your whole self.
If you want, I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you explore what’s next.
