Franchot Walker, CIT
Received his M.Ed. In Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in sports from the University of Missouri Columbia in 2019. He has spent time working as a social worker at a behavioral health company before transitioning to a counselor here at the Heriford House.
Goals as a therapist are to meet the client where they are and help support them as they work towards the goals they prioritize during sessions. I will also work to help empower clients so they can increase confidence in their abilities to be agents of change in their lives and the lives of those around them.
I have previous experience working with career counseling at the MU Career Center. I also have experience with anger management as well.
