My name is Catherine Wallis. I moved to Missouri from Illinois in Jan. of 2022. While living in Illinois I worked as a supervisor in child welfare, specializing in reunification, adoption, and trauma. Prior to becoming a supervisor, I was a caseworker. I have worked with many families in foster care both biological and foster. I also work as an adoption counselor and volunteer in the human trafficking sector.
I have a Bachelors in Health management, followed by a Master’s in Human Services, specializing in social and community services from Capella University. Currently, I am working to complete my PhD in Forensic Psychology. I am certified in human trafficking, trauma, and body language. Through the Heriford House, I am trained in MST and Problematic sexual behavior. I have many years working with children and their families after sexual abuse has occurred.
